A mapping study was conducted by the National Center for Innovation, which aimed to evaluate innovation, entrepreneurship, and the scientific research ecosystem in Jordan. This study resulted in identifying and highlighting the key stakeholders in the ecosystem which was distributed into (8) main categories and (39) sub-categories.

The National Center for Innovation was established under Regulation No. (90) for the year 2018, in implementation of the recommendations of the National Strategy for Innovation for the years (2013-2017), as one of the centers affiliated with The Higher Council for Science and Technology (Add Link), chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Hassan bin Talal, to serve as the national umbrella for fostering and stimulating the innovation, entrepreneurship, and scientific research ecosystem in Jordan. Jordan Open Innovation Platform ( JOIP )
The Jordan Open Innovation Platform (JOIP) is a digital platform launched by the National Innovation Center. It is the first of its kind that brings stakeholders together in the innovation, entrepreneurship, and scientific research ecosystem in Jordan, whether they are individuals or organisations. JOIP offers them digital services and tools that will enable them to access and obtain the necessary information to assist them in their unique journey of discovering innovation, similar to social media platforms.
